In this guided tour, you will learn the history and tradition of the vineyards. As well as their particular cultivation techniques for the Soave grapes.
The Soave production zone is situated in the eastern part of the hills in the province of Verona. The climate of the Soave region is influenced by the mists that flow from the Po Valley in the autumn. This brings with it the viticultural hazards of mould and other grape diseases. The Garganega grape, that is the primary component of Soave, is an a late-ripening variety. The Garganega has a thick skin that can withstand the mist better than some of the thinner skin varieties like Trebbiano Toscano.
The tour includes a visit into the winery. This is an opportunity to explore the wine cellar and learn about the particular production techniques, characteristic of this unique wine. A guided wine tasting of a few varieties will follow. The wine tasting is accompanied by typical local products.
